Hello. I'm curious about the date on this nickel. Can't quite tell if it's 1939 or 1959.  It looks like 1959; but on the 1959 nickel, the 5 has a straighter bottom curve. The 1939 has more of a curvy bottom but I still can't tell, it really looks like it should be a 5. Thank you for any input!

Can you post up another picture of this with the date upright? It looks like a 5 to me comparing the two but not positive.

I'm with Mikie, it sure looks like a 5 to me. We are talking about the very top pics in this post are we not?

It sure does appear to be a 39 but in that condition, being of very little value, I'm not sure it makes a difference. I'd spend it.
