1939 Or 1959 US Jefferson Nickel? - Coin Community Forum

FredNino New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 01/13/2008 1:00 pm Hello. I'm curious about the date on this nickel. Can't quite tell if it's 1939 or 1959. It looks like 1959; but on the 1959 nickel, the 5 has a straighter bottom curve. The 1939 has more of a curvy bottom but I still can't tell, it really looks like it should be a 5.
