Who else likes DMPL Morgan dollars? I think these coins can really be spectacular. They can also be quite a challenge to photograph.

I bought this coin at a Long Beach expo almost 10 years ago. It was one of many Morgans in 2X2 holders lined up in a dealer's case and it caught my eye from about 20 feet away. I sent it to ANACS for grading and they called it MS65 DMPL. It is by far the most deeply mirrored Morgan in my collection.

Does anyone else have some nice DMPLs they want to share?

I only have one and of course its a raw coin so it cannot be counted because a TPG has not said it can be a 65 DMPL so it has no permission for the grade or value .

But I will match your 84-CC and raise you an 84-O which if the pops were to be checked are less common in 65 and 64 DMPL than the CC coins with only about half as many graded at 65 DMPL and about the same difference at 64.

But due to the CC mint mark irregardless of the difference in number of coins the CC has about three times the value !

they are however within a few coins of even in 63.

Mine also has some of that nasty toning on the obverse which by market standards should only add about 1/3 more value to the coin .
