Please let me know if you know what types of coins these are. All I know is that they are supposed to be Spanish colonial coins/pirate cobs.

i think the one with the star is from morocco, the two in the middle/bottom are 8 maravedis coins. on the back of one I can see part of the date. the rest I'm not sure. you may have more luck in the world coin forum than here with ID.

Thanks, y'all. I might try that. Dohcollector, thanks for pointing out the counterstamps--I didn't know what that was, so I looked it up. Very interesting; now I want to learn more about counterstamped coins.

One of them from before is not in these pics, as I took it out because I noticed the date was from the late 1700s (and I know this is specifically for ancient and medieval coins).
