I have posted these coins here before, but have since improved my photographic technique and added a couple to the collection. My theme is Roman Britain. This includes coins that were minted directly in Britain, mention Britain or have a Britain theme, or coins dug in Britain. Here is what I have acquired so far, hopefully in chronological order to some extent!

Commodus Denarius: AD 185. Legend includes BRIT

Caracalla Denarius: AD 210. Reverse Victory in Britain
Roman-Britain---Set-So-Far

Carausius Antoninianus: AD 287-93. Usurper in Britain
Roman-Britain---Set-So-Far

Constantine I: AD 310-320. London Mint
Roman-Britain---Set-So-Far
Roman-Britain---Set-So-Far

Lucinius: AD 316. London Mint
Roman-Britain---Set-So-Far

Constantine II: AD 322-325. London Mint
Roman-Britain---Set-So-Far
Roman-Britain---Set-So-Far
Roman-Britain---Set-So-Far

Crispus: AD 323. London Mint
Roman-Britain---Set-So-Far

Finally, I have a Constantius II Centenionalis from about AD 350 minted at Arles. This coin came out of the Bridgnorth Hoard in Britain. It isn't the best in terms of condition, but the tie in historically is of note and why I picked I up.

Enjoy! I have a long way to go to complete all the rulers that minted in Britain, as well as types etc...

Excellent group of London mint coins. Out of 700+ ancients in my collection I only have one London mint coin.

Beautiful set. You have some really choice items there. But the "historical tie-in" for that last one from Arles eludes me. Could you enlighten us/me?

I love the second Constantine I you have! As well as the Crispus, I've always wanted a Crispus but haven't gotten one yet.

That's a really nice set, and a fun way to put together a theme.
