How a camp gate type eluded me until now is unknown, seeing how common they are. I finally acquired a nice London camp gate issue during the rule of Constantine II. RIC 296. PLON. This one has nice glossy surfaces toned deep green/black. A fancier bust than most of this type with interesting drapery/cloak detail. Edited by EFLargeCents 09/21/2015 12:06 pm

That's a really nice looking coin, a little off center but the legend remains. Plus being from the London mint really makes this an excellent LRB.

You've got a good eye for high quality coins there. I've noticed that the three coins you've posted so far have had excellent eye appeal and very strong strikes. You're doing good friend keep at it, they've been a pleasure to look at.

Thanks everyone. My ancients collection is small, and growing very slow. It had been quite awhile since I picked up anything. I am only looking for high quality (for the most part), so the feedback here is much appreciated!
