Poll Question
Today I got 2 boxes of pennies hoping to CRH tonight. When I opened them, they were all 2015 D uncirculated cents. Do people buy full rolls of them? Should I keep them or not?

I actually like when this happens, because you never know what you're going to find in current date bu coin rolls. I have made some pretty good finds this way - - including a Lincoln Cent FY discovery attribution. And if you do happen to find something, you usually end up with multiples. Finally, if you're a gem hunter ( like I am ), then imo it's the best way to go. On the other hand, if you're primarily an error hunter and looking for as many different varieties as you can find, then your best option is probably to trade them in for some new boxes.

Do full rolls bring in some premium if sold?

Time for ultra gem hunting! Rip them all open and look for the magic coin.

Looks like the highest current PCGS grade is 67. Maybe there's a 68 or 69 in there. If you find one, it could be worth close to $1000.

You can look on ebay to see what they're selling for, but my guess is that the most you would get for them is 1 or 2 dollars - if you can find a buyer.

I don't know how to grade, even with the help of PCGS photographs, especially between so close grades such as 67, 68, and 69. What do I look for and how is it suppose to look like?

When I get a full box of MS cents I keep a few rolls unopened with the heads/tails and then I open all the rest looking for errors/varieties and high grades. Good luck. John1

I said open them all, only because there was only 1 option to choose on the vote. so.. open all and keep a few rolls after you find the ones you like best for whatever reason. Unless it is a US Mint roll, its just a searched roll of pennies even if it came from those coin rolling companies.
You also never know if it really is all 2015 D until you check. Might not be much else in there, but anything could randomly be hiding inside where you can't see it.

Coin rolling companies don't search the coins, they just count and wrap the rolls. John1
