Cool looking! So are they painted and then dipped in something to give them that clear sort of finish?

My uncle calls them laminate coins. They were hand painted by a guy in California and then the varnish or clear coat is put over it . The other side of the coin is In original state.

Those are pretty cool. I'm usually not a fan of painted coins but those look rather nice.

The painted coins these days are computer stickers. I've looked for ones on ebay like my grandpas and can't find any like them.

Those are really nice. First time I've seen that type of painted coins with the clear coat.

Very Nice. I really like the Half Dollar REV the most though.

Almost looks like they are in watch crystals. Very Nice.

Thanks for all the nice comments about these coins. I haven't looked at these coins in awhile, but when I do, I think of my Grandpa and wish he could see all the great finds I've found since I've been click clacking (CRH). I wish he was still around. Hopefully someday my kids and grandkids will think about me the same way.

P.S. PM me if you find coins that are for sale like this on the internet. Thanks

How did I miss this the first time around?

They are all very nice and the sentimental value is a major plus.
