I read so many things to try and learn all this DD DDO obverse mintage grading etc.... lol but anyhow some things I'm just not getting. I understand that doubling is pretty much just what it says, u see double. the double die I think is where the letters on the coin look like bubble font and sometimes have lines seperating the two dies... correct me please, if I'm wrong. But this 69 s... I saw examples that was doubled big time and the mintmark was normal. then I saw this big long video on youtube abut this guy showing his 69 s for 10 minutes and explaining every little fiber or scratch n everything else and he said his could be the 100k coin but to me that one looked just like the rest ...i dont know if I'm missing something because I just dont get it unless its very obvious with the doubling or other obvious errors. this 69 s I have is just like mr. youtubes penny, as far as I can tell. ( yes I'm still wet behind the ears ) thanks for reading and helping

Heres the guys youtube link

The one in the video looks like Machine Doubling to me it's all flat and shelf like and no separation. So I would like someone else's opinion also but his doesn't look like a Doubled die either. Yes please someone else's opinion cause I'm pretty sure that is MD and now it has me questioning myself. Only spot that looks not like MD is the eye but I have never seen md to that extent anyway

Even from this far away you can see that it is not the BIG DDO.

Ok I see and thanks for understanding my confusion.. I've seen so many different values for this penny. Most are simular to mine...I think a lot of people need to research more before they say what (they think) they have so newbies like me dont get confused.

I've seen this video before swirlyjen. The poster put "Could this be" since he wasn't sure. He later found out that it was not a 100k penny and was MD
