The picture quality is not very good, but it's better than nothing.

Try using a different optimizer. There are dozens of free online ones out there.

Thanks, Kyle, I am looking into those. It's like wading into a swamp for a geezer like me.

I am disappointed that I cannot use the new Optimizer easily and must look outside the site to post good images.

ckrakowski - Nice pickup! Bet I'm older than your "old man".

My old man was born in 1957.

Steve - Thanks to you, Kyle, many others and especially Bobby (Forum Dad), I have finally learned to use off-site image editing sites. Reposting this as an example. Perhaps not ideal. but getting there.

Good to hear you're back on track MrFrog.

To me, the ability to post photos is paramount, especially when the members here have such a diverse and beautiful assortment of paper money.

Got this one from our lottery pool. Would you consider this a birthday note also?

Nice find. Good shape, too.

In my opinion it would be a "birthday note" if it was 07071993. But "birthday note" has no official definition that I'm aware of so..... call it a birthday note if you'd like.

I would consider that a "Birth year" note but not a "Birthday" note.

My newest $5 Star Notes that are all from low print runs of 320,000. Two have a small bend on the upper right hand corner from being placed into a currency bag but the other two that were in the middle of another stack of fives are all Crisp Uncirulated. I have noticed recently that finding star notes is not an easy task like it used to be from new straps that get delivered to the currency exchange business I work at. Here is a video about the fives :
