Well, now, that's interesting, Steve. Same rules apply for food stamps (i.e., they're replacement notes for notes misprinted or damaged in production)?

 I would have never believed that the old school food stamps would of had a star serial number until now! Another of the never ending reasons why this is the best forum hands down! I learn something new here every day. Thank you for posting those SteveInTampa |

There's a great article printed and available online to members of the SPMC (which I recommend you join) in the May/June 2011 issue of Paper Money magazine written by Peter Huntoon & Tom Conklin. |
