Post Your Star Notes!

Due to the delay I am also going to add a Barr star I am proud of no circulation on it that I saw. This one wasn't found in circulation.


Hoping to find some more nice stars soon...

This star note has seen better days and is headed to the bank.

No matter what the star notes are a fun find I search between $900-1200 per month in singles. The key is to keep anything low print run fancy or any of a dozen different things really...any bill worth more than face keep and sell even the commonest dirtiest stars and I already have a venue to dispose quickly or anything common or damaged but still valuable. Your common back to the bank hundred I'd get 115-145 for minus house fees in 10 days. Have 21 I have found in circulation in groups of 7, a group with a 10 star and four singles, and the single filled star covered with a shoe print so definitely well circulated going to auction with a few other things the notes either common or slightly rare but damaged beyond numismatic value have face of $36 but should bring $150+ but we will see and I will post a shorter update.

I got this last week from a member/friend of a different forum. It's from a 128K print run. This I consider GEM and I've only ever seen one other example in XF/AU condition.

IMO: one of best way to acquire collectible banknotes & that appears to be a gem example (so keep that friend!)

Another tough modern replacement note. This Cleveland star will probably end up being the key star for the series.

It's a real possibility that someone else may have this exact note.
