Well, yay; it's about time. Let me get out my checkbook.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1913-Libert...em33aa39866e

edit: for those who don't know https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1913_..._Head_nickel

second edit: the sales history listing on ebay indicates this seller previously sold another (same?) 1913 Liberty nickel. {grin}

third edit: sorry about all the edits

And I thought I was going to have to spend several hundred thousand at least to get one for my collection.

The last show I was at one of the dealers had a 1913 for $25! I was tempted, but decided to pass. I didn't really take a close look at it to see if it said copy on it, but the dealer was obviously selling it as such.

my goodness, what a day for ebay. I found an 'Ultra Rare Buffalo Morman Blood Nickel' and now this, all in one day. And people say Heritage is the auction site for hard to find coins.

I am glad the coin is in goood quality. I would hate to buy one that's only good quality. On the plus side shipping is included in the price.I like your post tryna. I was thinking the same thing

When I think of ultra rare US currency, the place I think of is Latvia. What a steal this buyer got!

Obviously ebay is the place to buy rare coins, but Heritage is the place to sell them.

I cant believe someone bought that piece of crap.

"Oh, hey, I found this ultra rare, million dollar coin on ebay for only 200! this HAS TO be legit!"

Ugh... It's ridiculous that the seller would even post this. Obviously it's fake. I can't believe this wasn't taken down.
