Cascade Pillar of the Community United States 7390 Posts	Posted 09/27/2015 7:56 pm Saw these "poor-man's GSA's" and had to have them and paid next to nothing @ $50 each, after BP! Has anyone seen these old insert cards before? I can't find any like them online with the keywords I'm using. The monster 81s is a beauty! She's hiding PL surfaces and does not cartwheel... Shipped to people for testing out Tidy House products, which was a company that made cleaning supplies for homes. Good deal at $50 each, they retail for $75-$100 each last I looked. For those that haven't seen bowl luster it looks very odd at first if you don't know what you're looking at expecting the cartwheel spokes. I'm thinking that with the PL surfaces and bowl luster not to mention the color of the 81s. I'll get my money back with just that girl alone and maybe more... if I was selling or flipping that is. In hand I can see clear print letters up to 6"+ but At 8" it starts getting a little fuzzy though and I can't get good pics past about 4". And this is all through a light toning. The obverse is too toned to do the newsprint test obviously. I must say, this is the first raw pl/dmpl I've played with and tried to photograph. Someone just cut the tops off of them basically making the dollar/holder combination worthless. Pop them out and discard the holders. Report this Post to the Staff
