Tidy House Promotional holders/coins. Shipped to people for testing out Tidy House products, which was a company that made cleaning supplies for homes. Good deal at $50 each, they retail for $75-$100 each last I looked. You can check ebay and see what they are going for these days I am sure.

Wow thanks cartwheel. I knew they couldn't be rare to the point I was getting skunked looking for it. Looks like I did score to the tune of double to triple. Nice

Those are cool, Cascade. I really like the rim toning. I have an 1882-S with awesome "bowl" luster too. It is something to behold. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks darth... For those that haven't seen bowl luster it looks very odd at first if you don't know what you're looking at expecting the cartwheel spokes. I'm thinking that with the PL surfaces and bowl luster not to mention the color of the 81s. I'll get my money back with just that girl alone and maybe more... if I was selling or flipping that is. These will be with me for at least a good while I'm sure. For those that want to check it out, this ebay listing came with the original form and envelope 151623603299

I don't think these are Tidy House pieces, those typically mention Tidy House and are intended to promote their products. These look like some thing from a dealer or cheesy promoter. Think 1960's version of the National Collectors Mint

Interesting theory conder. But I'm thinking they are just cut down or "cropped" tidy houses. Probably by the original owner for easier storage. You can see uneven hand-cut lines at top and bottoms of mine
Occam's Razor, no?

You are right they are mutilated Tidy House holders Pulled up some images of Tidy House holders and they match. Someone just cut the tops off of them basically making the dollar/holder combination worthless. Pop them out and discard the holders.
