Welcome to CCF. That is a nice looking coin. I think you will get more comments on your coin, if it was posted in the ancient coins section. Maybe a moderator will come along and move this thread for you.

to the community This is a very nice coin struck at Arelatum (Constantina mint) Arles France. There is a Sticky section here Titled Books, Downloads and Website that has tons of information on ancient coins. You can even download load a free copy of ERIC I and book on Iding Roman coins.

This is a very nice example of an AE3 reduced follis for Licinius I, from the mint at Arelate, officina (workshop) 1 Obv inscr: IMP LICINVS P F AVG. The bust of the emperor is wearing a laurel wreath and a cuirass, so it is a B5 class bust. This example is a bit special because the name of the emperor is misspelled. Rev.: SOLI INVICTO COMITI, with C and S in the two fields r and L, and PARL in the exergue, which is the mint mark for Arelate officina P (for Prima = first) (as I mentioned above). The coin is a variant of a coin listed in the standard reference Roman Imperial Coinage, vol VII, as #155 for the mint at Arelate (ancient Arles, France). Because of the misspelling this coin is not actually listed, and the "normal" version is rated as an R4. Overall, you have a spectacular coin for a beginner. Congratulations!

So, what lrbguy is trying to say is that he's pretty sure it's not an ancient Chuck E Cheese token, but, hey, ya know, like the name of the head cheese is misspelled. Definitely a keeper. Nice to meetcha.

Hi and welcome. I have about 15 Roman coins and yours is by far one of the nicest I've seen, as said before, well struck and centered. I too would grade it at EF. Typical Roman coppers in average condition fetch $5 to $10. Yours however, is way above average on several fronts: high grade, well struck, centered and an error. Each of those factors probably add an additional $5 to $20, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was valued between $35 to $75, of course depending on the venue and buyer. Just my opinion, if I'm way off someone else please help me here.
