This is one I've never seen before it looks old but I have no idea if it's ancient or not. Hopefully someone here will be able to help.

Definitely copper or bronze, other than that I've never seen anything like it.

Correct, it is an Umayyad Caliphate bronze fals minted in al-Ramla, this piece is anonymous in regards to the date. However, some certain examples of this fals were minted in Tabariyya (Tiberius), not al-Ramla, but it is highly unlikely this coin is minted in Tiberius, since it's an extremely rare issue.

Yours, since the text on yours is a bit blundered where it should say the mint name, so it would be near impossible, if not impossible, to read the mint. If it was the mint of Tabariyya, I'm ready to pay you $250 for that :)

*** Private information removed by Staff. Please do not post your address/email/phone number etc. ***

I would really be glad to have a clearer picture with better lighting, then it might be possible to read the coin.
I will only be interested if it was Tabariyya, which is a really small chance trust me. I'm not interested in the Ramla one, since I have about 30 of them :)
