Not sure if these are collected. Pretty cool though. Wish it was in order.

Keep or sell - I've sold a scrambled ladder twenty on ebay for a small premium ($30).

Not bad. I'll probably hold on to it for a bit and see what happens with these inevitable bill changes ahead.

Personally, I would spend it.

Andrew Jackson died in 1845. this is a 20.
1845+20= 1865
serial number 18653427
Illuminati confirmed?
I would say it is a curiosity piece for someone. If you like the non-sequential digits all being there and can afford to, keep it.

Spend it. Most unlikely anyone would ever give you a profit on it, so why tie it up?

I think it's cool. I'd hang onto it until I needed the money or didn't think it was cool any longer.

Quote: unlikely anyone would ever give you a profit more trolling after it was just explained in the $5 bill thread earlier, and in the CRH sub-forum. You are just going from sub-forum to sub-forum to try to force your way of collecting onto people aren't you? Maybe Coinfrog, you should just mind your own business and collect for yourself, and let others do the same? IF someone asks "will this be a profit?" then your opinion will matter, but otherwise you should assume they don't want your opinion if all you think about is making a profit.

Mind your own business? He gave his opinion on it like you gave your opinion on the Where's George bills. I don't understand why you're being so hostile. I personally enjoy Coinfrog's posts and I've never seen him cross the line like you're portraying. A bit exaggerated, don't you think?

Thanks for the opinions everyone. I will keep it because I'm a collector. Have been for 35 years. I hold onto things because I like them. Value means little to me because I haven't sold anything from my collection and likely never will. But like I've said in the past, I take all opinions for what they are. Opinions. Have a Happy New Year. -Chris

If you can spare the $20 hold onto until you are forced to sell or spend it.
20 years ago I had to spend all of my circulated $1 star notes I ha been saving for gas money.
Last year I had to spend all of my circulated $100 star notes in order to pay cash in full for my truck.
Even if it ends up only being worth face 5 years from now at least you have a rainy day fund you an tap into.

shadz - well, excuse me. I think I'll let the moderators tell me when I should mind my own business, if that's okay.
