Bubbles like that are usually a tell tale sign of a bad casting. The reverse looks horrible and it's hard to tell from the pictures, but is the edge reeded? The edge almost looks smooth from the pictures posted. That defect by the "1" and "in" could have been where the casting material was poured. Did you weigh it?

These new pictures you can better see the seam around the edge from the mold. Definitely a fake, Sorry. Can you return it?

Weight is good. I'm thinking it is a rusty die maybe?

should it be reeded or not? kraus says yes so it has to be a fake
i did a nono and scratched it for a test but it turns out to be silver so all in all not a big loss I think strange that this is surfacing in belgium don't you think?

Non reeded edge? If that much wear was to have happened Kennedy would be a blotch. Look closely at the new pictures and you can see a seam running around the edge of the coin.

The edge-on view shows no seam, contrary to previous comments. Nonetheless, the absence of reeding, the puffy reverse design, the odd bumps on the obverse, and the slightly low weight indicate that this is either a counterfeit or a genuine coin that has been quite abused.
