Does anyone else consider the TPG "selling out" when they do this stuff?

It is my opinion that NGC sold itself out a long time ago with the First Strike gimmick for big dealers. Add to this the myriad of labels that one can find for the same coin.

NGC has to take care of the bulk submitters as that is their largest source of income.

My Two Cents worth

Remember it was PCGS that started the First Strike labels so I guess that makes them both sell outs. (No argument with that from me.)

Both PCGS and NGC are in business to make money
Neither of them "Sold Out" by slabbing non government mint struck items.
Adding pictures, wording, topics, or signatures is just marketing, nothing more, nothing less.

If someone is willing to pay to get a Chumlee Pwn Star coin slabbed with a label that states what coin show it was slabbed at and the autograph of some guy whose claim to fame is playing the dumb son's stupid best friend, then it will be provided. That is supplying what people want and makes money. You cannot blame the business.

The fault lies in the person with more money than brains who is willing to pay a premium for such an item with such a label. Blame them for 'selling out'.
Rest in Peace

No wonder I own no slabbed coins.
