Wondering whether it's worth subscribing to PCGS Coin Facts or not. Any opinions?

It's nice because everything is all in one place. The thing is that information is available online for free if you are willing to do some leg work. Is the time you save worth the $15 a month? For me every minute counts and the time I save is worth it to me.

I pay $99/year (I think my rate is grandfathered) and wouldn't be without it. By the way - Have you checked out PCGS' free online books? http://www.pcgs.com/books/

Meh, not really worth it IMHO. All the information is free if you just ask or look for it. Also, if you use incognito mode, you should have unlimited access to the free trial.

To be honest. I don't think so. If there wasn't so much information readily available then I would say yes. Your just a mouse click away from any info you need though on Google.

I bought a subscription sometime in the past year (before I joined CCF)and used it a lot at first. Then less and less. The online App is great though. If I really need an answer to a question that's beyond basic, I check with the experts at the Ye Olde Coin Community Forum. Want the answer fast? Use the search function here on CCF because I've found most of my questions have been asked before at least once!
But yeah, do the free trial and if you like it, it probably is worth a year's subscription. But(BUT) remember that it has auto-renewal, so keep track of when you first subscribed. Also look at their Collectors Club if you think you might ever want submit coins for grading/certification. If you drop a $10 AGE (or so), Coin Facts is included and you get a cool polo shirt & 8 "free" coin submissions!
