Anyone ever use PayPal credit to buy now and pay over time? How were your experiences?

As long as you're disciplined about making the payments IN FULL and ON TIME when they are due then it's a nice way to get access to funds without paying any interest. I've used it over the last couple of years for several thousand dollars worth of purchases and haven't yet pay a single dime in interest. I've also made every single payment on time. Each purchase is counted separately and typically will get you either 6 months or 12 months of no interest depending on the total spent at once. I think it's 6 months for purchased between $99 and $499. And then 12 months for purchases of $500 or above.

Now on the other hand if you're the type to string payments out then the interest will be quite large as it's retro-active to the beginning of the purchase if you don't pay it in full when it comes due. So for anyone that thinks they may end up doing that then I would definitely stay away from Paypal credit.

I'm not a fan of Paypal Credit. Yes, the fact that you can string out a large purchase for 6 months is nice. But, I pay my monthly credit card bills in full on time anyway, so there's no interest, and prefer to use my credit card for the points. There's no extra ebay bucks anymore anyway. Imo, Paypal credit is an easy way to get over my head with short term credit, tempting, but better to stay away.
