Hello all,
I purchased this Buffalo, and since I don't know Buffalo varieties too well: I searched it up on the NGC's Variety Plus listings. The most popular it seems is a doubling of the eye lid. It only appears a bit raised, or thickened so I just dismissed that.
Thick/Raised Brow
This did not appear to be the
DDO as there is no doubling that I can see. However when I turned it onto the back to check if it may have reverse doubling, I noticed what appears to be the "raised lump on the left hindleg which is diagnostic for this die."
Since I had seen the front with the thick eye brow, and the coin is not exactly in MS70 condition; could this just be a bit of wear on the coin?
P.S. I have a "budget" microscope camera, so I attempted to reduce/heighten it's lighting to help with the photos. Let me know if more are needed.
