Doug,

With that Username you should fill your pouch every time out.

I'm a former Oregonian. What part of the State do you hail from?

Metalman,

I haven't seen it since 2004. My folks live in Medford, but when I visit they don't travel much anymore. I used to live about 1 1/2 blocks from GPHS. Had loads of fun on the Rogue.

Dave I spent more time on the Rogue than I did at home ,, back then it was a world class steelhead River and Salmon too.

I fished the river all the way from Goldrey to the coast ,,walked the trail from graves creek to the ocean several times ,,I would like to do that at least once more before I'm done !

Man the world is a small place !

It's been a while since I could find time to post. Sorry. I live in Albany. I have managed to take the detector out a few times since my last post. I think my running total puts me just over $30.00 in clad for the new detector and one large cent (heavily pitted). Oh if it counts I must have collected a few hundred pop tabs and other assorted bits of junk metal. I really do enjoy the new BH. I can trust it to tell me whats under the dirt and so far it has been pretty much right on the money. I am going to try to take it out in the am (if I can beat the 'Honey Do List' down or if the Wife messes up and sleeps in...<GRIN>).
Happy Hunting,
Doug

Hi Doug

Hope you live up wind from the paper plant ?

Your doing great with the BH ,, looks like maybe MD'ing is not a top priority in your area ,which should get you some good finds as you begin to get into some of the older areas IE parking lots ,old drive in theater if there is one , parks and camping areas, .

old homesteads should be on record if you can get to the records if not then try the local library for early history pictures
