Those are some great finds! That 1835 dime must have been a heart-stopper when you pulled that from ground. And the 3 cent silver...that's a very unusual find, too. Congratulations and thanks for sharing. Care to share with us your metal detecting kit?

Wow, makes me want to get out the White metal detector that I bought my hubby for his birthday and go metal detecting--alas, it's too COLD here right now. But , I am envious of your beautiful finds! Good luck!

Hunter 20ga: Whites 6000 DI Pro Plus SL, now I'll be mostly water hunting down here with a Minelab Excalibur 1000. I sold the Whites on ebay a few months ago but I kept my Whites Liberty Di.
