I like most folks on here consider this hobby of collecting paper money very fascinating and addicting. After doing this for almost 3 years I have decided to show it off. I don't have the nicest collection on here and I know its not the most valuable but it works for me. I have really focused my collection on three things. Now I have a lot of money tied up into other notes but these three are my bread and butter and consume most of my nights on E-bay searing for the notes that I do not have to complete these sets.

1. Completing a 1976 $2.00 full district set with stars graded by PCGS in the Grades of 64 PPQ or Higher. I have 5/24 notes right now.

2. Second part of my collection that I am working on is completing a 1957 $1.00 Silver Certificate collection. The set is in total 6 notes graded by PMG as 65EPQ. So far I have 5/6 notes. Still need a 1957A*... trying to keep the set all graded the same.

3. Lastly..my passion and the one I spend the most time searching E-bay for is to complete my entire birth year set 1985 of all notes and districts. I want this to be PCGS graded all 65PPQ or higher.

Like everyone else on this website I am curious as to what you guys collect and why you choose to buy or collect those notes. I appreciate all feed back and comments as I will post pictures of these 3 parts of my collection below as well as a round about of all my graded notes. Hope you all enjoy as I know everyone loves pictures.

$2 bills of any sort to make some sort of set like a coin folder. at least 1 set of all FRBs outside of that other grouping. apparently since I don't know what to do with them about 40 sequential serial# 1976 $2's. silver certificates is I ever find any. Think I have a red seal $2 or $5 or maybe both. and a 1985 $20 that I was using as a bookmark years ago has been removed (i finally finished reading that book) and placed with its paper brethren.

I do have something odd. I keep $1 in a bank envelope where my spendable unrolled coins are and I keep emptying it for one reason or another and somehow when I go back to look there is $3 in ones in it. I have figured out that so long as there is 1 one in it, it will attract two friends. I guess they use the coins in that cash box for chips and just have a guys poker night. (Guys cause all their names are Bill, get it?)

You have some very high graded notes... very nice!! I love the collection and the connection especially with your birth year, I think that's pretty cool!

I have been all over the map in collecting notes... so now I'm just going to focus on collecting chartered bank notes with animals/livestock on them...

everything else that I own will eventually go.

So nice! Anyway, do the 1976 Bicentennial notes stamped a fdc get a lower grade because of the ink? Or is it dismissed?

Very impressive - some sharper pics would help (can't make out the TPG data on many).

If you could provide a list, that would be great!

Very nice notes!! I cant seem to stay interested in any one area..Now I am into nationals from my one bank home town! They're rather pricey,though....Do you have a nice example of the 2003a two dollar star? They are tough!

Nice collection. Stick to your guns and drive on. I collect $1 by block letters. There are right around 2000 different blocks from 1957 to present. I have about 1250 of them. It seems like it has taken forever to get where I am at. Just have to stay focused.
