SO I found this penny in our piggy bank and it has the Lincoln on front and nothing on the bank. I will post a picture. Wondering what its called? Is it worth anything? thanks!

You have one half of a spy coin. The reverse of the coin was removed. Another coin would have been ground down to make a reverse for the half that you have. Just do a search for 'spy coin' and you'll see plenty of examples.

Welcome to CCF, kellyg10 - . That is a spectacular find! All coins have stories attached to them but yours conjures tails of spies, espionage, cold wars, and secret messages. Your children and theirs are going to love hearing about the exciting adventures that may be part of this coin's history. And the best part is that you can make the stories as big as you want. Jack
