1916-S Walking Liberty Half

This coin appears to have had many smaller rim nics and a couple larger scrape marks (scratches) that appear to be where a fine tooth file was used to smooth out smaller nics. Bumps have been lessened by a tac hammer or spoon. Light tapping can move the metal back into place. It's the same principal used when making coin jewelry, a ring out of a silver half. You keep beating the edge and eventually it changes shape. Look at the deformation on obverse rim above the T and rounding of the rim by the L. Reverse look above the AM, 9 O'Clock position, and indent at 3 O'Clock position. Too many subtle marks all around the rim on this one. It is much easier to spot this on a coin in hand but this one seemed easy to see in photos.
