I bailed this one out of Lay-A-Way a couple weeks ago and wanted to see what the CCF members has to say about her in comparison to PCGS; Thank you for your interest and comments.

I'm going to venture AU58. You have some collection. Awesome.

Pretty coin and at least AU50, possibly AU53 if luster in-hand is more readily visible than on the picture.

AU55. very nice. The only issue I see is in eye appeal where the obverse is very different than the reverse

AU55, eye appeal is a +. This coin should CAC green no problem. I love it.

PCGS called it XF40 in a relatively new holder. What was not identified is the Variety Attribution of WB-105, Double Die Obverse with pick up points being the doubling of the 1 through 4 stars (left side) and the left side of the rock that Liberty is seated upon. I am thinking that this is another good candidate for CAC, since there is little value at the XF45 level (without the attribution). I have a 1841-O 50C in XF45 with less detail, but New Orleans is not known for really strong strikes.

XF40 seems criminally low.
