I have had the Wheat cent for many year no one know what it is. as a boy we called a hanging s. now I think its a die clash I have never seen one like it before.

I'm no expert but it looks like a die chip on the 5. If there's a clash, I don't see it.

It's a small die crack that developed into a chip. Very common on that date. Also common on 1952D.

I have seen the 53-D but this 54-S the S it tilted a little to make it look as if it going to fall off

Yeah, slightly tilted mintmarks are very common.
