2000 Virgina State Quarter. Offset about 8%, half is not stamped, not flat(bent). Just trying to see what it is valued at.

Unfortunately, your coin has suffered from some serious damage. It is not an error.

How would it be damage? It is off centered and it has no stamp on half of it?

Your coin was struck normally and at some point in time the left side was flattened post-mint, it is simply damage. There are only a few errors that result in a coin that is not perfectly flat but they involve collar failures and capped dies and your coin was obviously not affected by those occurrences.

The coin is either the result of a very Grease Filled Die, or someone put it in a vise and squeezed the bejeezus out of it. Given that your coin is bent, I would go with the latter theory.

What does the edge look like? A Grease Filled Die will not affect the thickness of the coin on the blank side.

The coin does have a misaligned die, but it is well within official Mint tolerances--they do not pull coins unless part of the design is cut off.

On the reverse you can see how the rim was flattened out . That would have been done post mint. You wouldn't see the thickness difference that is doubtful but a micrometer or gauge could tell you. I don't see it being off center ? The rim that I can see that's not damaged looks normal and I'm not sure 8% off center is very much out of the mint allowed tolerance.
