Spott Valued Member United States 263 Posts	Posted 10/15/2015 06:44 am I can't help with the identification itself, but is it possible the lettering says "Bessern Findest Du Nicht" rather than "Bessern Finoest Du Nicht" and "Geschutzt" rather than "Gescnutzt"? In German: "Bessern Findest Du Nicht" means that you won't find a better one, a phrase which is often used for a spouse or a fallen comrade etc. "Geschutzt" means protected, shielded, or guarded from. dohcollector Valued Member Belgium 464 Posts	Posted 10/15/2015 12:35 pm have't found any reliable source for this but I have found a similiar piece for sale saying this is a medaille and I believe the full incription should be "ich hab einen kameraden einen Bessern Findst Du Nicht" the inscription is part of a german song of the armed forces so it has a background https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ich_h...en_Kameraden but I have notting on who made it and when it was struck atleast you have a lead ;) Edited by dohcollector 10/15/2015 12:37 pm Report this Post to the Staff
