Hey guys

So I couldn't help myself form buying another Barber dime this morning ..
Now this was one of the lowest graded out of the group but in my opinion was one of the sharpest coins .. It appears to have a light scratch on the reverse , anacs didn't think it was severe enough to details the coin but do you think they bumped it a grade or two because of this scratch ?
Overall I really like the coin and it seemed a few others did as well , I end up paying a bit more than I would have liked and on top of that the seller is in my state so I also had tax on this one ..
So I'm wondering what is everyone's thoughts on this one ?

Nice coin, MS64. Too bad the reverse scratch.

I'll say 58, but with ANACS it's often anybody's guess.

Looks AU-58 to me, but with TPG's, you never know.

I was also wanting to ask you guys if you knew when Anacs used these slabs ? I'm thinking this is the first slab after the ANA sold anacs to Amos press , if that's correct would that have been early 90s ?

Hard to imagine they would detract so much from an otherwise pristine coin. AU55+ in my opinion. AU50 seems like they sold it short.
