This one just arrived in this morning's mail Looking at past sales and my trusty Red Book I would say it might make EF40 on a good day, what do you say?

EF-40 to 45. Not sure about any cleaning with the slight difference in toning in the recesses. Any luster left on it?

I'm a EF 40 or 45 for this. Nice coin.

XF45. Indicators appear to suggest a cleaning at one time

Date looks a little oversize IMHO. If it's real-EF-45 Cleaned.

XF45. Just a bit too much wear for a 50.

The date looks too large for it to be real. I also noticed that the denticles look a little off. I suspect that this coin may be a counterfeit.

Nope, this is completely authentic. The dates on the 1902's were noticeably larger than other dates. Compare it with others on google, and draw an invisible line from the tip of the 2 to the right star. Test it on this coin and several others and see where the line meets in the star, if that makes sense. Appears to be the same spot. I love grading V nickels. I see a problem free XF-45 piece right here. Beautiful pickup, mind if I ask you how much you paid?
