Transfering to a more secure holder so thought I would snap it and post here for you to play the grading game.

That's a nice die-crack on the reverse by the "S".

I see some wear on the reverse left wreath and possible very slight wear on the obverse (also on the left). I also know that, when we were taking pictures of these coins, not all the elements of the design showed up right in the pics and some areas appeared to be worn that were not. If those areas do have the slight wear that I see, I'd have to say AU55.

With "WE" as bold as it is though, I feel like this should be an uncirculated coin. If there is no wear, I'd go with MS63 BN.

the Wear on the arrow is surface dirt (Never clean a coin)as are most of the grey areas. The Wreath is a weak strike I think especially on the left. If it was not for the small ding on the bottom of the sheild I would have sent this one off a long time ago to have a plastic coffin but I am still learning about this series and there is always that nagging doubt and it could be AU55 not MS. Its not realy worth slabbing a coin that may make $50 but its good sense to slab one that may be worth $150

Have you done any checking on varieties for this coin? With the die crack on the reverse and the "1" looks like it has something going on there, I would try to find some variety info. If there is a variety, I would consider slabbing it with ANACS. I think you may find that it is MS.
Rest in Peace

I like this piece. I feel we are looking at a MS-60 BN. If I had the piece with me It might go a point higher. These coins were know for weak strikes in different areas. This piece appears to be a full strike with the exception of a small area.
