The ones I've been posting lately have been slam dunks for the CCF graders. Here's one that might be a little more tricky.

This 1909-D Barber 25c has some really cool toning. How do you think it was graded by the TPG?

I'm gonna go higher and say 58, hard to tell with the toning and details if it has any luster..

Yeah, that's a big scratch in a prominent position. Plus, maybe it looks good in person, but I myself hate blotchy splotchy toning, no matter the color. Even tone I love, this kind I don't. I'd be at AU50 for a straight grade. It's almost impossible to tell if there are or are not luster or luster breaks.

Grading with this much toning is tough. Looks like about 50% luster peaking through. I cant tell if it has any circulation or not so I say AU55 or MS62
