Amongst the dealers on Vcoins sometimes they describe them as "siglos" but checking the weight betrays them as a half. Full or half both are nice though, the deeply struck design and thick flan is all part of an appeal that you only really get with Greek silver. Great pick up. Report this Post to the Staff
Arael Pillar of the Community United States 567 Posts	Posted 10/20/2015 11:05 am Yeah I definitely agree about settling for the half, I certainly would have preferred a full siglos, but I was so enraptured with the quality of the strike and the price that I pretty much snapped this up without a second thought. I really agree about greek silver having the crazy strikes and thick flans, that's part of the reason they're my favorite. Report this Post to the Staff
