hi, another newcomer here relying on those who know something about the subject. The pix are a Buehler, Buehler Smith hard times token. Looked up on ebay there is one live at a hefty price, and one shows up in history on another site even higher. But they have gilding intact. Looking at mine with all the magnification I have available, it looks like the gilding is worn off for the most part. The token isn't particularly worn though. So, is it a clinker or worth trying to sell in this condition? Thanks for any advice!

Hard times tokens aren't an area I know much about however, there should be some members here that will be able to assist you.

You might email this gentleman and see what he says http://www.hardtimestokens.com/index.aspx
