Got these at the bank today all 1971 p except 1 1976 p type 1 But all in circulated condition. Anything else I should look for on these things? Not worth much but face value I suppose?

I've always found the 1971-P's difficult to come across in circulation, especially in nicer condition.

Good score. They are out there! They can sell for about $1.50-2.00ea. I live in a town filled with older people so my banks are always out of Ikes and everytime I ask I'm told this we save them for this old guy or that old guy, literally that's what they all say at multiple banks, I'm begging to wonder if it's the same old guy!?
I'm thinking of asking a manager to find me a fed bag if they can

I just looked at the post for 100k I'm sorry I never noticed it or didnt pay attention. I spend halves and s.b.a's all the time I will start helping you guys with that and posting when I spend them . I ask for them at the bank and then I keep maybe one if I'm lucky and spend the rest.. I think I will keep these Ike's not sure yet maybe sell them on ebay and see if I get a profit I don't know but I'm keeping the 1976 type 1 for sure 400,000 minted

Nice Ikes!
I am also spending $1 coins and Halves that I don't use. Will keep a running tally until it bottoms out.

OK this is for you jbuck. So apparently an older woman has been going to my bank and dropping of these Ike's once a week at least. I was there today and the teller said that her neighbor teller who isn't theirtoday has some more for me. I gave her my number this time and said next time call me and I will get there A.S.A.P. So hopefully this lady keeps dumping and I can keep picking these up. We will see.

I like to give them out in tips. People tend to always find them interesting and I always hope that one day it will eventually spark a new collector since that's kind of how I got started.
