I wanted to place this next shot separately to accentuate the red arrows that point to the possible existence of an underlying 3 which would indicate a FS-1914-101.
According to Lange's 3rd edition of 'The Complete Guide to Buffalo nickels' NGC will only certify examples that have 'prominent die scratches above the numeral 4'.
I simply want to verify the presence or not of an overdate since according to this book the 3 may still be present although being obscured by excessive filing.
I would like opinions before I waste $ sending it out for attribution since I have no clue how much a variety of this nature would bring in this grade etc.
