Hello,

Looking for some info. Is there anything special about a 1953 penny i.e.-key date. I know absolutely nothing about Canadian coins, but recently got one, and am just curious.

yes there are the shoulder fold and no shoulder fold varietys, shoulder fold is the one youd be looking for... on the obverse.. look at DEI GRATIA and the I in DEI will either be flared at the ends or fairly straight
