What is this error? I think it is a broad strike but am unsure. The sides are messed up on the front and back. Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't look like a broadstrike to me. Very early die cap stage perhaps? Maybe it ws bezeled? Perhaps struck thru grease as well? What does the back loo like(pics)?

Probably just a very worn die. Worn dies are an infectous problem with small denom. 1955 coins.
