As I look through my 7070 type album, I can't help but noticing that I have more coins, by a wide margin, from 1853 than any other year. Part of that has to do with the "Arrows and Rays" Seated Liberty coins that were only made that year, but other than that... Just a coincidence, I suppose. One of these days, perhaps I will actively work on putting together a complete set of coins for 1853, but for now, here is what I have:

1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year! 1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year!

1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year! 1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year!

1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year! 1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year!

1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year! 1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year!

1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year! 1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year!

1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year! 1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year!

1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year! 1853-Was-A-Very-Good-Year!

Just thought I'd share...

I love those rays! They really accentuate the eagle nicely!
