I would start with your favorite price guide, find the listed price for XF and start subtracting grade value by how bad the damage is.
If it is one little spot in a non focal point that you have to look for then subtract little, if the damage is bad all over subtract a lot.
this gets to personal feelings very quickly. There is no science and no real art to valueing details coins. Its value is up to what the buyer can put up with and a dollar amount the seller will accept...
