Hello There Pillar of the Community United States 1191 Posts	Posted 10/24/2015 02:14 am Today I got 5 Franklin half dollars. When I got home I weighted them and they all range from 12.1-12.3 grams. Are those weights normal? Report this Post to the Staff

I'll let others speak up but I'd guess that 0.2 grams of material loss would be normal wear and tear for well-circulated Franklins. How confident are you in the accuracy of your scale?
