I learned of the $20 for $20 after the first(?) issue;
I bought the max allowable for three consecutive issues;
It appears as though the third issue I bought (2012 Christmas; 4th issue from $20 for $20) isn't listed in my 2014 'Coins of Canada' catalogue.

Can someone help me out with the aproximate value of this coin?

... or maybe tell me where the 2012 Christmas $20 for $20 coin should be in my catalogue?

The Raindeer was the last coin of 2012 followed by Hockey. The farewell to the penny $20 for $20 was right before the Raindeer.

Well thats a bummer that the farewell to the penny was before the reindeer - I would have totally bought those.

I now that these are "worth $20" - I also know that by now, most carry a premium on the collector market - which is why I'm looking for guide information.

Does anyone know if the 'Coins of Canada' guide lists the reindeer?
If so, can somebody direct me to a page number?
(2014, or 2015 guide?)

Does the newest Charelton guide (edition two of course) list it?

Its worth $20 in the collector market. They used to be worth a lot more but now they are only worth face.....at one point I could get $60 for the first 1 and $50 for the 2 after......but now if I can get 25 for them I would be happy......I bought some of the first one just recently for 21 each.....thought I was going to make some money...but no one is interested.....the massive amounts of these they release every year just lower the value of the first ones.

I also used to collect 3 of each....but I took them all to the bank now I only collect 1 of each.

For me this coin is worth $20 and maybe a little bit more just because it is part of a rather popular series. Probably not worth hoarding massive quantities unless you believe silver price will eventually exceed $80/oz.

I have three of the canoe, the polar bear, and this one - I was just curious if any guide listed the reindeer one because as you can see from my picture, the reindeer one is curiously absent from the list of 20 for 20 coins.
