I want to sell this coin. I currently have it still sealed and shrink wrapped in its original set.

Should I keep it sealed and sell it that way? Or Should I send it in to ICCS prior to selling?
Rest in Peace

Your link takes us to your ebay page, not to a coin you are asking an evaluation for. If this is to get someone to "follow" you, I doubt that will happen.

If you are actually asking a question about a coin, please post photos or more details about the coin you are referring to.

Well that was quite unnecessarily rude.

The link is not part of my post, its a signature that is included in every post.

And I believe my question is clear as it is. Thanks though.

Take it to ICCS, grade is important on this variety.

Unless it's a 64 or something in which case it's better not to know

The total population is really climbing on this coin. Well over two hundred now.
I hope you get a high grade on it.

My coin came back graded as MS-67 from ICCS.

I dont normally collect graded coins. Is that a fairly high grade for this coin?

Anyone have population report for this grade/coin?

Pretty much as high as it gets! Most would grade 65-66.

You could try consigning it to a Canadian auction... you might do better than an ebay auction.

Wilsonwu, congratulations on your find! Charlton 2015 indicates only FOUR non-magnetic 2005P cents have been certified, all found in uncirculated sets.

But I'm curious why ICCS graded it MS-67, since it came from a set?

It is MS-67 NBU, NBU stands for numismatic brilliant uncirculated. These çoins from the current sets are NBU not PL as in older sets.

Another question, were these also found in the Black Envelope Uncirculated Sets also or were they exclusively found in gift sets?

Thank you, wasn't sure about the terminology ICCS uses for more recent PL type sets as different grading companies appear to use different references.

I don't know that you'll find out the answer to that. Which type was yours found in? And were you searching for one or did you just happen on it by chance?

Item 218 in this past auction refers to the 2005 "Uncirculated Set".
