pocket change 50 Pillar of the Community Canada 1751 Posts	Posted 10/10/2015 5:25 pm I've been away since the singing moon mask, as I was 4 months in hospital with no Internet. So I'd love to see some real images of the coins. The RCM images leave me most uninspired. I also miss the posts of members new coins, it was inspiring and it gave a chance to show the coin off! The photos helped to make the coin come alive. Unfortunately my Pre April purchases are packed away, so I cannot lead off with a photo. I was lucky enough to meet a man named wes, who had brought several coins to hospital. My favorite was the 2010 gold RCMP coin, it was outstanding. It was the second time, I had seen a gold coin. It's funny as the last time I looked at mint offerings was April. My spirit must of been talking to my rep! Time to check the credit card statement. I do like the various finishes and it is interesting, so not sure if I'll take it to the bank. @ Silver Don those coins are impressive, I'm very glad u shared. The poppy dollar is fantastic, it's a must have for me. I still need this year's silver proof set, with color flag. I'm still working on my silver set & silver dollar collection. I'm waiting to see the 2015 great lakes coin! I know I'm inspired to buy the enamel silver dollar, after seeing its photo. Where oh where is Numoose, he always used to post his photos!! With the exception of FV (circ and x4x), I bought the sportfish series (one coin had to be replaced because it was defective), the glass turtle, the $3 flag and the SD. That's it. I ordered the latest fractional set and the Flanders spec. ed. SD but neither have been delivered. I'm seriously considering cancelling the fractional set because after 6 weeks of waiting, the shine is coming off the rose. There is no chance I will be renewing my MC this year after more than a decade. Besides experiencing a huge drop off in customer service lately, I am simply no longer enjoying a hobby that requires so much time just to keep up with release after release after release. I haven't bought very many Canadian coins living here in the States but I do have the Wildlife and Birds of Prey series and bought the E=MC2 Maple leaf this year but I do love many of the Perth Mint and Canadian coins and wanted some "colored" coins for my world bullion map so after much thought I bought the "Howling Wolf".
