I have wanted this type for a while, my preference was to get a drachm or didrachm rather than the smaller fractions. I saw a lovely didrachm but it is over 4 times the price of this coin so budget dictated I plump for this. 2 holes left on my larger Greek silver page now...one set aside for an Athens new style tetradrachm and one for a Byzantion siglos. I will have to keep my eyes open to find either, the balance between budget and eye appeal will be tough to negotiate. Report this Post to the Staff
