Those are nice! Good finds! I believe the 57 would be called "brilliant" and not "brilliant uncirculated". Clearly it is circulated! I know that there is widespread misuse of the term!

Pete2226. I am glad you brought up the topic of whether this coin is uncirculated or not and rightly so NOT if it came from a bank roll. I also see many posts on circulated coins in great condition, that suggest the coin may be an MS 63 for example. Can a circulated coin be an MS coin at all. A LCS dealer tells me no.

Quote: Can a circulated coin be an MS coin at all. A LCS dealer tells me no. That makes sense to me. "Mint State" implies not circulated! But there is no way to tell whether a low MS is circulated or not, as far as I know. Low MS are allowed to have a few minor dings, I think.
