I donīt know if this is the right place for my consult .If it is not I beg your pardon.

I recently received this coin from a relative -as a gift- and a very important Colombian collector, that saw it , is very interested to buy it , but I really have no idea of the price.

As I want to ask him the right and fair price, I am asking with all my respect any possible advice from the experts of this forum . Thanks a lot.

Well the year itself isn't much worth, so I suspect that the intrinsic value lies with the off-strike that is present.

So really, I would agree with the collector the value you would both be happy with.

For my own reference, where did you find something about the error being called a 'Cachucha error'?

Hello UKpennyHunter:
Coin Collectors in Colombia use to call the coins with that kind of error " a coin with cachucha" or a coin " descentrada",not centered, ,I think , but I am not 100% sure, because it seems that the coin has a special hat, the same hat that use some sport players like baseball players , over one part of the coin. Thanks for your advice.

Thanks Lucho, entiendo 'descentrada', I thought maybe there was some written information on it! It's a nice error, it's still remained round even though it's an off-strike which is good.

Let us know how you get on :)
