what I love about this coin it shows the problems they were still having with the composition and the fracture marks that frequently occurred, coin damaged the moment its struck but the history is great. Sellers pics I'm afraid bit blurry dont do the coin justice.

Take the shot from further away and just use the zoom, instead of taking it close and trying to focus.

Nice coin by the way!

I don't have a stop after date variety, but here is my regular 1721. It looks like the die that struck your coin was broken, there are giant die breaks below the bust and next to the second G. Those rim dings hurt your coin a great deal though in terms of desirability, still it is a decently high grade for this type. Also of note is that these coins rarely were fully struck as the relief of the bust was quite deep, so a lot of times the laurels were never struck to detail, same with the central details of Britannia.

thats a nice coin you have there, I wouldnt say they are exactly dings( I think of a ding as damage after a coin been in circulation not a fracture mark at mint I'm i wrong thinking that way?) I like the warts n all on this coin give a true character of the problems they had at the time.
